Meet Dr. Alex
Dr. Alex has over 20-years of experience as a veterinarian. He focused in small animal surgery and internal medicine during his graduate studies. Passionate about staying current in his field, he continues to educate himself on new techniques and practices so he can offer the best care possible to your pet. He has proven skills in orthopedic and advanced surgeries. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association representing more than 86,500 U.S. veterinarians.
Dr. Alex calls Apopka home. They have two sons, 3 fun-loving cats and 2 dogs. Dr. Alex understands how each pet is an important family member and works hard to take the time in each visit to educate and communicate the best care plans for them. He looks forward to caring for your “furry friend” that is part of your family.
Leesa – Practice Manager
Leesa has over 20-years of management experience. She is a CPA and received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She is passionate about making sure the clinic runs smoothly and that the client experience is one that shows respect and compassion each and every visit.
Leesa has lived in Apopka most of her life and is proud to own a business in her hometown. She is married to Dr. Alex and they have 2 young sons. In her spare time, she loves spending time with Dr. Alex and their children, playing with their family cats and dogs (or any pet that is needing a temporary home), traveling and cooking up healthy vegetarian meals.
Bianca Lawrence – Lead Veterinary Technician
Jazminn Hall – Veterinary Technician Assistant
Jazminn received her veterinary assisting certificate from Southern Technical College. Since she was a child she knew her calling was to help animals.
Jazminn has 2 cats named Simba and Ares. She enjoys spending her free time in her “second home”, Disney. So, if she is not at work, you will most likely find her there.

Liz Burgos – Veterinary Technician Assistant
Liz is excited to be part of the veterinarian field. She has a passion for animals and wants to be in a position where she can help them. She is currently working on furthering her education in the field and is taking classes to become a certified veterinarian technician.
She has 2 dogs. One Luna, who she has had since a puppy and Kali who she recently adopted. She likes to spend time with her family and friends and enjoys traveling to new places. She would like to open her own shelter one day.

Julissa – Client Services Coordinator
Julissa received a certificate in Animal Assisting. She has been working in the veterinarian field ever since then. She enjoys helping clients keep their pets feeling good and healthy.
Julissa has one cat named Nala. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
