Meet Dr. Alex


Dr. Alex has over 13-years’ experience as a veterinarian. He focused in small animal surgery and internal medicine during his graduate studies. Passionate about staying current in his field, he continues to educate himself on new techniques and practices so he can offer the best care possible to your pet. He has proven skills in orthopedic surgeries. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association representing more than 86,500 U.S. veterinarians. Dr. Alex calls Apopka home. He and his wife have lived in Apopka for over 8-years. They have two sons and 2 fun-loving cats. Dr. Alex understands how each pet is an important family member and works hard to take the time in each visit to educate and communicate the best care plans for them. He looks forward to caring for your “furry friend” that is part of your family.


Leesa – Practice Manager

Leesa has over 19-years of management experience. She is a CPA and received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She is passionate about making sure the clinic runs smoothly and that the client experience is one that shows respect and compassion each and every visit.

Leesa has lived in Apopka most of her life and is proud to own a business in her hometown. She is married to Dr. Alex and they have 2 young sons. In her spare time, she loves spending time with Dr. Alex and their children, playing with their 2 family cats (or any pet that is needing a temporary home), traveling and cooking up healthy vegetarian meals.


Ruben – Veterinary Technician


Ruben joined the team 2 ½ -years ago. He attended Westside Technical College where he completed a program approved by the Florida Veterinary Medical Association to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant. He plans to enroll in Seminole State College to get his AA degree. From Seminole State, he plans to attend University of Florida to finish his studies to become a veterinarian doctor. On Ruben’s days off, he enjoys being around his rabbits and giving them the love and special care that they deserve. Ruben also has a German Shepard and Lab mix named Buddy. Buddy and Ruben play outside for endless hours playing with balls and sticks. Ruben also enjoys spending time with his family and girlfriend and going on long walks or bike rides with Buddy.


Beth – Veterinary Technician Assistant


Beth attended Westside Technical College where she received her certificate as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. She plans to continue her education by pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Technology. She is passionate about animals and their causes. She currently sits on the board of a directors for a nonprofit fox rescue group. Her and the board are currently seeking grounds to build a sanctuary for these animals. In Beth’s free time she loves to be with her pets. She has two cats named Selina and Kyle and one dog named Harley.


Bianca – Veterinary Technician Assistant


Bianca attended Westside Technical College where she received her certificate as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. She plans to attend St. Petersburg College to get a Veterinary Technician degree. Bianca has one cocker spaniel mix dog named Toby. In 2015, Bianca and Toby traveled across the UK and The Republic of Ireland. She also has two cats that she adopted from Ireland named Gaea and Ares. In her spare time, she likes to play with her nephew, read science fiction novels, and crochet.
